 3 Syntax as a command:  dv drive_name

 6 Function:  tells the system that a physical volume is no longer on a
 7 drive.  This command can be used in ring 1 or ring 4.

10 Arguments:
11 drive_name
12    has the form <subsys>_<nn>, e.g., dska_02.

15 Notes:  The drive specified may not contain part of an accepted logical
16 volume.  See the del_lv command for demounting logical volumes that are
17 in use.

19 The del_vol command can be used to cancel the assumed or known states
20 of any drives.
