1 01/15/88 reset_soos 2 3 Syntax as a command: reset_soos path 4 5 6 Function: resets the security-out-of-service switch for the specified 7 directory or segment after verifying that it is consistent with respect to 8 AIM access controls. 9 10 The reset_soos command is needed only if the site is using the AIM 11 access controls. 12 13 14 Arguments: 15 path 16 is the pathname of the directory or segment that is to be put back 17 into service. 18 19 20 Access required: The user must have access to the 21 system_privilege_ gate to use this command. 22 23 24 Notes: This command fails and prints an error message if the 25 directory: 26 27 1. is upgraded without terminal quota; 28 29 2. contains segments with an access class unequal to the containing 30 directory; 31 32 3. contains directories with an access class that is not greater than 33 or equal to the containing directory; or 34 35 4. contains inconsistent upgraded directories or ring 1 system 36 segments. 37 38 This command fails and prints an error message if the segment 39 has an access class unequal to the containing directory. 40 41 The star convention is not accepted by this command.
