 6 Function: lists the contents of a directory information segment created by the

12    pathname of a directory information segment. The dir_info suffix need not be
13    given.

18    prints minimal information.
19 -long, -lg
20    prints all information.

24   If neither -brief nor -long is given, an intermediate amount of information
